Trail Description

ebike allowed or not caveat

E-bikes NOT allowed on Upper Flagline

This section of Flagline is outside the summer Elk Calving Closure which effects Middle Flagline and is the main connector between the Flagline Access Trail and Metolius Windigo. Expect high a high alpine feel, and watch for horses as this trail is very close to the Todd Lake Horse Camp. The trail connects in the middle to Met Win, and actually follows Met Win for a very short distance. The top potion takes you out to a very pretty meadow with a steam at the intersection of Road 370.

This trail is maintained by Central Oregon Trail Alliance.

Recent Reports

  1. Brian Thomas Coop

This was perfect on 10/31. Just a little snow right before the intersection with 370 road.

  2. Natalie Herse

Rode the section from Metwin/Todd to Flagline Access trail. 1-2” crunchy, but rideable snow. Several trees down too.

      Cleared

  3. Bruce Bradshaw

A few mostly rideable snow patches between closure and Met-Win. Clear north of Met-Win.

  4. Ryan Pedersen

A few unrideable snow drifts remain but I went from Todd Lake dirt road to Middle Flag and only had to hike a bike a handful of times. A few standing puddles and clear of deadfall.

  5. Natalie Herse

No snow. No mud. That will probably change starting tomorrow :(
