Trail Description

 E-bikes allowed on Roundabout

Roundabout trail is on the West side of the Deschutes River and offers a short, intermediate singletrack loop into the forest near Sunriver. At the North end of the Loop, you can take a short out and back to Elko Point overlooking the Deschutes. The West end of the Roundabout Loop has some rocky sections to provide some challenge. Afternoon Delight leaves the left end of the loop, and takes you to Conklin Road and closer to Wanoga.

  1. Cramps and Wobbles

Other than having to dodge the pine cone debris the trail is riding great.

  2. Gary Orzell

Cleared all deadfall from Roundabout today.
Northbound along the river there is deep soft mud and water (both standing and running) on the trail, too damaging to the trail tread to ride through. Rest of the trail as some patches of snow and minor mud.

  3. Rick Burnett

Nice add on ride to the Sunriver trail system, completed Roundabout with a group of seven from ten to seventy years old, only a couple technical areas up top but very doable for anyone.

  4. Barney Gill

Riding amazing! Mud only at very bottom along river, but minimal.

  5. Leonard Pipes

Totally clean except for pine cones. 2 ice/snow crossings but not muddy/rutting. Totally good for Sunriver XC workouts…

  6. CowMTB

The roundabout trail is lose on the way up because of the sand best ridden in the morning with minimal wind and wet sand for better traction. Afternoon wind is not too bad but would recommend a rain jacket or wind breaker. Uphill section pretty easy but gets hard on the descent after afternoon delight turnoff. Beware of optional rock jumps and some tight technical sections. Some berms and mellows out towards the end with a small hill climb. all roads other than main road coming from cardinal Bridge are not in use so no need to worry about motocross or atvs.

The east segment of trail from the Sunriver bridge to Afternoon Delight is clear and almost entirely dry. Almost too dry for April in places.

  8. Hollowaycaleb52

Theres a trail to the right before afternoon delight (if you go clockwise) that’s posted on the trail but not on here super cool lookout and had a sweet windy way down and a nice little drop if you got the nerve for the tight landing
