Trail Description

ebike allowed or not caveat

 E-bikes allowed on Lawler

Lawler is a great trail that is a little more technical than most Oakridge trails tend to be. There are a few big climbing moments during the duration of the trail so it’s not all fun and games. The trail itself dives you through some magnificent forests of old growth fir, hemlock, cedar, maple, and ferns. There are a few steep down pitches and chutes, some fun shale sections, and an uphill climb on which most people hike-a-bike. Also expect some sharp switchbacks to keep you focused on your way down to the new-school flow-trail finish.

  1. Steven Schaible

Trail surface is perfect. Unfortunately there are several downed trees and a whole carpet of windblown debris on all but the last mile or so. Still fun!

  2. BendTrails

Open from 5847-543 down. Closed above that for one more week.

  3. BendTrails

clear from the 543 down. It’s getting a five-year brushing and some drain work in the upper sections. Above 543 there is still a lot of snow, but probably mostly clear of logs because it was clear before the last storm.

  4. BendTrails

    Closed currently due to fires
