Trail Description

ebike allowed or not caveat

E-bikes NOT allowed on Crooked Arm

Crooked Arm (also called Broken Elbow) is named after… Yep. It’s technically still part of Has No Horse. This short mountain biking trail is easy to miss as it starts at the summit and heads down the back side of Horse Ridge.

The first few hundred yards include a gnarly, rocky decent which is why the trail is rated ‘expert’ — with a couple tight switchbacks and some loose sand as you dive into the valley below. If you ride up the trail from Golden Basin towards Horse Ridge — expect to be hike-a-biking the steepest parts.

Pretty sandy at the bottom of the steep portion. Riding great past (downhill/ south of) the dirt road

Ditto on the sand pit until you get to crazy horse. Fun ride, but it’s hike a bike back up unless you are way more man than I!

  3. Joe Myers

Top to middle is great but once past the rocky sections it’s just a full on sand Pit. Accessing the top is is not worth the effort.
